What a difference a year makes! The big crowds and the usual hustle and bustle may not be present but this didn’t deter from the excitement of the forthcoming sale. The Covid-19 compliant ring specially set up for the day in the Main Hall ensured that everybody was safe. For those not able to be present it was available live on Facebook for them to watch from the comfort of their home with a ‘cuppa’ and purchase via telephone bids.

With 9 Steers and 19 Heifers forward the quality on offer was plentiful. No judging this year but the parade presented an opportunity for prospective buyers to ‘eye up’ the cattle on offer.

Highest price of the day went to D J Lloyd & Co, Cefn Barrach for a 9 month Limousin heifer(lot 28) which sold for £3750 and purchased by Brian Griffiths, Lower Penygelly, Newtown. This is the third year running the Lloyd family have achieved top price.
